Spring Dinner & Dance

Dear TCA Members and Supporters,
The 2020 Tahoe Cattlemen’s Association’s Spring Dinner Dance has been canceled due to impact of the COVID – 19 pandemic.
The TCA Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to cancel our main fundraising event of the year, for the time of the Tahoe Cattlemen’s Association’s Spring Dinner Dance history.
While this is disappointing to all of us, we feel that the health and safety of our members, volunteers and community is of the upmost importance. So, the only responsible decision of the TCA Board was to put everyone’s well being first and start planning the 2021 Spring Dinner Dance.
The Tahoe Cattlemen’s Association traditionally uses the monies raised at the yearly Spring Dinner Dance to provide ongoing education to local cattle producers, scholarships for youth in agriculture, help sponsor beef award programs for Placer County Fair, Nevada County Fair and Gold Country Fair, provide education and feedback to our young beef producers at the Beef Carcass Awards after the three local fairs, host the TCA Steer and Heifer Classic, support our Placer and Nevada County 4-H and FFA programs, and bring our members together for our yearly TCA Membership dinner, to name a few of our annual activities.
Even though we are unable to hold our dinner, there are ways you can continue to support the Tahoe Cattlemen’s Association and our goals to support our local beef producers and Ag community.
#1. Let us know if you’d like to donate the cost of your ticket to the 2020 TCA Spring Dinner Dance or let us know if you would like us to provide you with a refund.
#2. Become a New TCA Member anytime or Renew your TCA Membership by January 31 st each year via our website and receive updated information on meetings and events.
#3. Follow us on Facebook.
#4. Become involved as a volunteer! We currently have TCA Board positions open, need help with
producing a quarterly newsletter, or participate on our membership, educational events, and scholarship committees.
#5. If you provided a sponsorship or donation to the 2020 TCA Spring Dinner Dance and would like your donation to remain with us and be applied to the events we can hold in 2020 or would like to request a return or refund, please let us know.
We appreciate your continued support and understanding during this difficult time of social isolation and activity restrictions.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2021 TCA Spring Dinner Dance and we will keep you posted on the rest of our plans for 2020 as we are able to develop them. We are tentatively planning an outside Fall Beef Cattle Workshop, a winter Joint TCA/PNCW Membership Dinner, and TCA Classic Steer and Heifer Jackpot Show.
